CHECK OUT THE CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 PERFORMANCE FEATURES

July 23rd, 2019 by

Are you looking for a heavy-duty pickup truck with an abundance of features? We recommend the Chevrolet Silverado 2500. At Robert Basil Buick GMC, we take pride in keeping our Orchard Park consumers well-informed about our models, so let’s check out what performance features come with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500.

The Silverado 2500 comes with two engine options. The Vortec 6.0L V8 engine is paired with a six-speed automatic heavy-duty transmission. This engine produces 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. If you choose the crew cab model, then you get a Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 engine. This engine delivers 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque.

The Silverado 2500 features Hill Start Assist. This performance feature can hold the brakes when you are moving your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator. This prevents rolling back under certain circumstances, and Tow/Haul Mode adjusts the transmission to decrease shift cycling when you are hauling/towing on steep hills.
